Cynosure ICON Handpiece Refurbishing

Advanced Medical Incorporated (AMI) provides professional refurbishing and repair services for Cynosure ICON handpieces, including commonly used applicators such as Max G, Max R, Max Y, 1540 Fractional, and 2940 Fractional handpieces. Our refurbishment service is designed to restore proper performance and extend the useful life of the handpiece while providing a cost-effective alternative to purchasing an OEM replacement.

Depending on the handpiece technology, condition, and diagnosis, the refurbishment process may include complete disassembly and inspection, flashlamp replacement, flow-tube replacement, optical cleaning and inspection, reflector/cavity inspection, filter inspection, seals and O-ring replacement, cooling and water-flow inspection, electrical and connector testing, fiber inspection, and replacement or repair of worn or damaged internal components as required. Fractional handpieces may require additional evaluation of the laser rod, fiber assembly, optical components, scanning or delivery components, and alignment.

After refurbishment and reassembly, the handpiece is tested for proper communication with the ICON platform, cooling and water flow, energy output, pulse delivery, and overall operating performance. When applicable, output measurements and alignment checks are performed to help verify consistent energy delivery before the handpiece is returned to the customer.
